Meghan Markle was not as charming as she appeared after joining The Firm according to Royal experts.
Speaking out against the Duchess of Sussex in an ITV documentary called ‘Harry and William: What Went Wrong’ were several Royal insiders who claimed sources had a problem with Meghan from the beginning.
As Robert Lacey claimed, one of his sources, who was close to Prince Harry, insisted that the Duchess had a hidden agenda when she joined the Royal Family.
Meanwhile, Penny Junor said she had heard “bad stories” of how “Meghan was upsetting people” from the get-go.
“Someone close to William told me William felt from an early stage that Meghan had an agenda,” Lacey revealed in the shocking documentary.
“I was hearing very bad stories from early on that Meghan was upsetting people. She was not as charming as she seemed,” Junor, a Royal author, added.
Junor also took a swipe at the duchess as she slammed her for speaking out against the Royals in an Oprah interview and treating them as if they were celebrities.
“Harry and Meghan’s approach is not just Californian, it’s showbiz-y, celebrity. Our Royal Family are not celebrities. They are working members of a public institution,” she added.
“I was appalled by the Oprah interview. These are not statements that should be made for public consumption. This is the sort of thing that should happen in the privacy of a psychiatrist’s couch.”
The ITV documentary comes shortly after Lacey claimed that sources close to Prince William – and the Duke of Cambridge himself – expressed their anger over the new addition to the family early on.
While the sources allegedly claimed that the duchess might be “500 per cent nightmare,” Prince William allegedly got upset by the way Meghan treated the Royal staff.
“But look at the way that bloody woman treated my staff — merciless!” Prince William once said, Lacey claims. The comment was allegedly made around the time an official probe was launched after Meghan was accused of bullying her staff.
