Harry’s return to Britain for the Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral will be a huge moment for the Royal Family as they are still healing wounds over the bombshell interview with Oprah.

The duke will be attending the event at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor but it is not clear whether Meghan, who is heavily pregnant, would go with him.

Harry is likely to go back to London by private jet from his Los Angeles home. It is understood that he may be allowed to use a diplomatic exemption to waive normal coronavirus rules applying to flights from the US.

Instead of being subjected to a ten-day quarantine, it is thought that Harry will be tested for Covid-19 before his departure from the US and upon arrival in Britain.

Even though the reunion of Harry with his father Prince Charles and brother Prince William will be awkward after his and Meghan’s racism claims in the Oprah interview, the Queen will expect her grandchildren to put on a united front, along with other members of the Royal Family as a mark of respect for Prince Philip.

“Harry will Harry will absolutely do his utmost to get back to the UK and be with his family,” a source told Daily Mail.

“He will want nothing more than to be there for his family, and particularly his grandmother, during this awful time.

“Meghan is obviously pregnant so she will need to take advice from her doctors about whether it is safe for her to travel, but I think Harry will definitely go.”

According to the New York Post, a source said that: “Harry was extremely close to his grandfather. He will, of course, be there, no matter how difficult relations are between the Sussexes and the family.”

The source added that Meghan “wants to be by his side” but would have to consider her doctor’s advice and airline rules about pregnant women.
