Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Say Their Bombshell Interview With Oprah Would Be Their ‘Last Word’ On Palace Rift


Meghan Markle and Prince Harry said that their interview with Oprah Winfrey would be their ‘last word’ on their Royal Family rift.

The couple said they felt the “need to have their say” but now wanted to “move on” as they considered the issue closed.

A friend told The Telegraph: “It was something they felt they wanted and needed to do but now they have done it, they feel a line has been drawn under that chapter of their lives and they want to move on.”

But there is still uncertainty about whether Harry will attend upcoming events such as the 100th birthday of the Duke of Edinburgh on June 10 and the Trooping the Colour on June 12 because of the arrival of their second child this summer.

This comes as Prince William and Prince Harry prepare to unveil a statue of their mother Princess Diana in July.

According to Daily Mail, the Duke of Cambridge and Duke of Sussex will reunite to unveil the commissioned statue of Princess Diana at Kensington Palace on July 1.

The statue was commissioned to mark the 20th death anniversary of their mother and recognize her positive influence not only in the UK but also around the world.

Princess Diana’s statue will be installed in the Sunken Garden of Kensington Palace on July 1 to mark her 60th birthday.

“Our mother touched so many lives. We hope the statue will help all those who visit Kensington Palace to reflect on her life and her legacy,” the two dukes said when they announced the project.
