Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s biography Finding Freedom is set to be released with new chapters this summer.

The first edition by authors Carolyn Durand and Omid Scobie was published in August last year. It is set to go on sale again with new chapters, covering their bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey, the allegations that the former actress bullied royal staff, royal rifts, and the death of the Duke of Edinburgh.

The new edition is also expected to discuss their new life in California, their multi-million dollar deals with Spotify and Netflix, and the Queen’s decision to strip them of their royal patronages.

It was hoped that Harry and his brother Prince William would rebuild bridges after Prince Philip’s death and funeral. But the release of Finding Freedom second edition may aggravate the tension between the Firm and the Sussexes, it has been claimed.

A senior courtier told the publication: “The Oprah interview detonated a bomb under the Royal Family and most of them are still reeling in shock. The book will not help.”

A senior royal source also said: “After Oprah, what else is there to say?”

During the interview with Oprah, Harry claimed that his brother and father are ‘trapped in the system.’

“It’s been really hard,” he said. “I am part of the system with them, I always have been, but I guess — and I’m very aware of this — my brother can’t leave that system, but I have.”

He continued: “With that relationship and that control and the fear by the U.K. tabloids, it’s a toxic environment. But I will always be there for him, and I will always be there for my family. I’ve tried to help them to see what has happened.”

The Duke of Sussex also said that he ‘didn’t see a way out’ until he met Meghan.

“I was trapped, but I didn’t know I was trapped. Trapped within the system like the rest of the family. My father and my brother are trapped. They don’t get to leave, and I have huge compassion for that.”
