Meghan Markle’s brother entered the Australian Big Brother house and said he ‘warned’ Prince Harry about his sister before they tied the knot.
Thomas Markle Jr has branded his sister ‘shallow’ and claimed he was the ‘biggest brother of them all’ as he entered the Australian version of Celebrity Big Brother.
“I’m Meghan Markle’s brother, I’m the biggest brother of them all,” he said in a trailer for Big Brother VIP.
“I told Prince Harry, I think she’s going to ruin your life. She’s very shallow,” he added.
Stars including NRL player Matt Cooper and Caitlyn Jenner joined the Australian version of Celebrity Big Brother.
Markle Jr, the only son of Thomas Markle and the Duchess of Sussex’s half-brother, has claimed that the last time he saw his sister was in 2011.
He previously told the German newspaper Bild that his family believed that the duchess was now a ‘changed person.’
Markle Jr was living with his father, stepmother Doria Ragland, and sister Samantha Grant, also known as Samantha Markle, when Meghan was born in 1981.
He was not invited to the Sussexes’ Royal wedding in May 2018 as he doesn’t have a good relationship with his sister.
He previously criticized Meghan in the press, calling her a ‘phony’ and a ‘jaded, shallow, conceited woman.’
The 55-year-old also blasted his younger sister for cutting off their father after he was caught working with paparazzi before the Royal wedding.
During a 2018 interview with Daily Mail, Markle Jr said: “I think Meghan should have handled this differently. I think Meghan should have handled this from the beginning and I think it got ignored and swept under the carpet for so long, it’s a shame where it’s ended up, especially between her and my father.
“She’s capable of doing anything, she’s just got to want to do it. If she wants to make amends, by all means, she can do that. But she’s got to want to do it.”
