With restaurants and fast-food joints being shut down due to the coronavirus, we are all missing our favourite fast food dishes.
However, people are trying to make their favourite dishes at home.
A fast-food chain fan was craving Mc Donald’s, and she created cheese melt dippers at home itself. And this person made this dish with only three ingredients.
Mc Donald’s is one of the popular fast-food chains in the world. But due to the coronavirus spread the restaurant had to close a month ago.
Ever since the shutdown, its fans have been trying to recreate the dishes at their homes.
Two TikTok users took the home creations a notch higher by making the seasonal menu favourite that was available last in January.
The McDonald’s cheese melt dipper came back for Christmas and featured a festive Camembert twist. The flavour of this dish continues to change with each promotion.
Earlier, the cheesy incarnation consisted of Monterey Jack along wth Mozzarella and Emmental in breadcrumbs mixed with herbs.
Last month Rees Edwards Caulier and his girlfriend Kristy shared a recipe for cheese melt dipper that only required four ingredients including babybel, flour, eggs, and breadcrumb.
In the video, you can see the eggs being mixed in the container prior to coating the babybel in flour. You can use self-raising flour or regular.
She then dipped the cheese bite in the egg mixture, then coasted it with breadcrumbs. Lastly, she put it in the oil for frying.
Once the cheese turns golden-brown, you can take it out and accompany it with tomato dipping sauce.
The video shared by Reese has more than 2.4 million views and is filled with comments about how good the recipe looks.
This is not the first video; people have been recreating their favourite fast food meals at home and sharing their creations online. While some deliciously succeeded, for others the plan did not work out quite as much.
