Floyd Mayweather’s Ex-Girlfriend And Mother Of His Children Was Found Lifeless In Her Car


Josie Harris, Floyd Mayweather’s ex-girlfriend and the mother of his children, was found dead in her car by police officers.

40-year-old Harris was discovered outside her home in Valencia, Los Angeles County but authorities don’t suspect foul play. According to TMZ, they are treating the incident as a death investigation.

The famous boxer and his ex-girlfriend dated from 1995 to 2010. Mayweather served two months in jail after he was convicted of assaulting her in front of their son.

In a statement, the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department said: “Homicide investigators have responded to the death of a woman.”

“The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. There is no additional information available at this time.”

Harris claimed that Mayweather abused her on six different occasions. In 2014, she told USA Today: “I was a battered woman.

“I felt embarrassed about saying I was a battered woman. I felt shame. I felt like it was my fault. What did I do? I didn’t understand what a battered woman was at that time.”

She added: “Now I know I was in a very dysfunctional, hostile relationship and a victim of domestic violence.”

Koraun, one of their children saw the assault that saw the boxer serve time. He also called his dad ‘a coward.’

Speaking about the incident, Koraun said in an interview: “(My dad) said to lock my door and stay in my room. I went back into my room and locked the door and then ran back out my bathroom and then hopped over the gate and went to the main entrance gate. I just told (the guard) that my mom was getting hurt and to call the ambulance and the police.”

Harris was in the middle of writing a book about domestic violence survivors when she was found dead.

One internet user commented: “Rest In Peace Beautiful Lady. I tried for your 3 children – May God Bless them and keep them SAFE.”

Another wrote: “I feel for the kids. Prayers up for their children and the rest of the family. I hope they investigate this.”
