Recently, it was heard that Mary Kate Olsen has filed for an immediate divorce file against Oliver Sarkozy.
The designer of The Elizabeth and James, the 33 years old twin sister of Ashley Olsen has signed a petition to divorce her husband on April 17.
Things were not good between the designer, 30, and the French banker, 50 for quite a while, But this petition file came as a shock to the fans.
Though Mary Kate has filed the petition, the New York Courts are not accepting any divorce files due to the global pandemic of COVID-19.
She further added that she received an email from Sarkozy’s lawyers that she has to move out from their NYC’s apartment within May 18.
Due to the lockdown situation, Mary asked Sarkozy to extend the deadline to May 30, but according to her, he hasn’t responded yet. She added that her husband had terminated their lease without consulting with her.
According to the report, Olsen filing a divorce petition can protect her property. The media has reached out to Sarkozy’s company in order to get a response. Since the couple had tied the knot back in 2015, they have kept their relationship low key.
Their relationship has always remained under speculation, and there have been rumors of their split up coming from early 2019. But, the couple has always kept mum on the situation and never reacted to the media.
Now that Mary’s divorce petition has gone in public, the couple has to face the media and respond to the matter. As of now, Mary is responding to Sarkozy’s company to respond on the matter,
