Martin Luther King’s conservative niece implied that Colin Kaepernick might be unfamiliar with Betsy Ross before claiming that the popular flag maker might not even have designed the actual flag.
A pro-life advocate and a pundit, Alveda King came into sight on Fox Business to inquire the quarterback’s data of the American flag maker once Nike declared that it was pulling a shoe after raising concerns.
King said that she was not sure if brother Kaepernick even completely understood who Betsy Ross was. She added that it was a misfortune to fight over things like sneakers when they should actually be celebrating life in the most superior country of the world.
King also suggested that her uncle, father, and grandfather, everyone knew how to go about serene conflict resolution whilst assembling facts.
A Trump supporter, King emphasized that the country had prominent topics of concern. These include the babies that are aborted inside the womb.
She also stated that communication, forgiveness, renewal, and restoration were useful ways to progress.
While King said that she found the shoes cute, she also speculated that Ross might or might have not designed the flag.
In addition, King claimed that the decision of pulling the shoe by the company was contributing to the division that was taking place in the country.
She added that Nike had unluckily taken the decision to join in a fight that keeps dividing instead of reconciling.
King, who is also an endorser of Nike, stated that the flag on Air Max 1 USA shoes was offensive since it connects to the era of slavery.
Kaepernick filed a complaint to the company posterior looking at the photographs of the design on the internet.
