Adoption is a beautiful thing which makes the baby and parents both happy. Even more beautiful than adoption is the heart of the parents who give up their baby so that their babies have a better life.
Steve Stansfield who is 38 years old, lives in Pennsylvania was just three months old when his 16 years old father and mother gave him up for adoption.
Though Steve’s adoptive parents are open and loving he always knew that his biological parents are somewhere out in the world.
Jerry Standfield who is Steve’s adoptive father told the Island Packet that we as parents always said to him that we love him and so does his birth mother. Steve is lucky enough to have parents who love him so much and now he is married and has kids.
Steve has always wondered of meeting and knowing more about his birth parents, but soon after his wait, he found his miracle during the holidays.
With the help of his wife, Erin Hanson and his adoptive parents, he found the best thing in his life. He found his birth certificate which was making it easy for him to find his birth parents.
Just when he found his birth parents, he discovered that they were searching for him too. Steve did not only found his parents but also found his siblings.
When Steve’s wife found her biological sister on Facebook, which led to a series of clues for Steve’s biological parents, then a reunion meeting was planned with the biological family, and everything worked out perfectly just the way it should have been.
The reunion moment was captured on the camera, and it is very emotional to see how successfully Steve was able to meet his biological family. CarolAnn Foran is Steve’s biological mother, and she was so happy to see him.
She couldn’t stop apologizing and hugging him after finally meeting him after years. Steve responded very calmly to her apologies as he said that you never need to be sorry for whatever happened and now you’ll never get a chance to feel sad about anything.
Jerry, his adoptive father, told The Island Packet that the moment was all about our son and his biological family not about us. It’s a miracle that Steve found his biological family and also he is blessed to have the most loving adoptive parents in his life.
