The alum of Married at First Sight Cortney Hendrix has found the love of her life.
After being together for more than a year, Hendrix’s boyfriend, Sherm, who works as an accountant popped the question recently.
Hendrix said that on 6th March 2014, she got the call from Kinetic Content about being married at first sight. She still remembered it, as it was a day before her mother’s birthday.
The thirty-one-year-old revealed that on the same day in 2020 i.e. 6th March, Sherm popped the question and asked her to be his forever.
Hendrix noted that 6th March is the day that brought everything complete circle for her. She further said that she did not know what love felt until now.
Hendrix was previously married to Roxanne Pallett, a firefighter. She also noted that after everything she had been through, she did not know it was possible.
However, she is grateful for her past as it led her to her fiancé, made her grow through the darkest times, and prepared her for this relationship as well a lifetime of partnership and love.
Sherm, on the other hand, was reluctant and skeptical to commit after he ended his previous married almost six months before he met Hendrix.
The twenty-nine-year-old revealed that early in their relationship, the couple would stay up until early morning hours talking to each other and connecting with one another on so many levels.
He added that he did not envision having such serious talks regarding his future with any other woman so soon. He also admitted that he did not ever enjoy being with anyone except Cortney and so he knew, he should marry her.
