Marks And Spencer Fan Tattooed The Company’s Logo Onto His body


A Marks and Spencer fan went viral after tattooing the company’s logo onto his forearm because of his love for the retail giant.

As 43-year-old Chris Coates, who is a body art lover, revealed, he has been shopping at M&S for over 15 years and he enjoys everything from their service to their food and clothing.

To show his affection for the high-street clothing line, Mr. Coates got ‘M&S EST.1884’ inked onto his arm to complement his other designs including jigsaws and skulls.

“I love M&S. I’ve been shopping there for about 15 years. They’ve always had fantastic customer service. I also love their food,” the father-of-four said.

“I used to be a chef and the quality of the meat and everything is brilliant.”

As the dad with nearly 20 tattoos added, he gained respect for the retail company because they never judged him based on the way he looks.

“I’m tall, quite stocky and covered in tattoos. In certain shops I get stereotyped and followed around as if I’m going to steal something,” Chris admitted.

“M&S aren’t like that, the staff are always friendly. The way they treat me, I always feel special.”

Speaking of his newest tattoo, the Essex-based British explained that it cost him $75 and took less than an hour to complete at a local parlor.

“I wanted another one and I thought it would be really good. I love everything about M&S,” he added.

As the dad-of-four revealed, his M&S tattoo has already gained him recognition.

“There’s a really big security guard who works in M&S in Southend. I went in there to get my lunch and he absolutely loved it,” Coates claimed.

“Two other staff members think it’s taking customer loyalty to the next level. My wife thinks I’m mad.”

After Coates’ story went viral, the M&S representative spoke out and said:

“Full marks to Chris for his customer loyalty. This Christmas, we’re celebrating our #MyMarksFaves and Chris is certainly one of them. We’ll be marking his new tattoo with a treat next time he comes into the store.”
