A mural honoring star English football player Marcus Rashfod was brutally defaced, just moments after he missed a crucial penalty kick during the Euro 2020 cup final match against Italy.

Police in the United Kingdom referred to the shocking incident as disgraceful while claiming how they’re looking at the matter with a potential racial motive.

Local media reports confirmed how the mural was vandalized using graffiti and then covered with curse words such as sh**e and bast**d too.

The star player who is also a renowned member of the Manchester United squad missed out on a penalty kick against Italy which many fans felt could have potentially altered the game’s outcome.

The Euro 2020 final match was an absolute nail-biting experience as the game entered into a penalty shootout to determine who would become champions. And to many people’s surprise, they certainly were not expecting England to perform the way they did.

The famous mural the honors the star is located in Withington, on a wall that’s situated upon the Coffee House Cafe.

In addition to the disgraceful curse words, it was also mentioned, f**k Sancho in big bold letters too, which happened to be a clear-cut reference to the player’s Three Lions teammate Jadon Sancho.
