President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago hosted a mask free ball for pro-Trump group Turning Point USA, where Roger Stone, Kayleigh McEnany, and the CEO of MyPillow made an appearance.
According to the photos posted online, Florida congressman Matt Gaetz, Trump campaign spokesman Hogan Gidley, Kentucky Senator Rand Paul, South Dakota Gov Kristy Noem, and Laura Ingraham were also at the black-tie event.
Former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski and former acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell were also present.
The pro-Trump youth group Turning Point USA hosts an annual conference every December.
Trump addressed the group in 2019 but he has yet to leave Washington DC this year. Donald Trump Jr. and Kimberly Guilfoyle addressed the group and other conservative stars, including former Trump aide Sebastian Gorka and Fox News host Tucker Carlson.
Pictures shared on social media show a packed ballroom with guests not wearing a face mask or face shield.
Guests posed for photos in the ballroom, on the white marble stairs, around the swimming pool, and in front of a Turning Point sign.
The White House press secretary McEnany, MyPillow CEO Mike J. Lindell, and other conservative stars also posed for a selfie.
Lindell said to DailyMail that he only stopped by the gala long enough to pose for photos and eat dinner.
He also suggested writing “the real story of the fraudulent election and getting voting machines out there so people can see.”
Lindell also said that there were plenty of rooms in the convention center and blamed Palm Beach County officials for tuning seven hundred attendees away.
“I went out there Saturday night – 1,000 or 1,500 people trying to get in. I spent a few hours out there, talking and taking pictures,” he expressed. “I just felt bad for them.”
County Administrator Verdenia Baker said the group had “oversold their contract capacity by 500 to 600 people,” according to CBS station.
“The Convention Center is adhering to the contractual agreement with Turing Point of a 2,000 person capacity; this leaves 500-600 people unable to enter the Convention Center,” she said.
