Frontline Nurse Passed Away at the Age of 48 a Week After Testing Positive for Coronavirus


A person working at the Mount Sinai West hospital dies in New York City as the nurses of the hospital were forced to wear trash bags instead of gowns.

Kious Kelly was a 48 years old man, who died on Tuesday at the Mount Sinai West hospital located in Manhattan. He died after being admitted to the hospital for a week after he was tested positive with the virus.

Kelly was working in Mount Sinai West as an assistant nursing manager. Just like all the other hospitals in New York City, Mount Sinai West was also hit by the shortage of equipment to keep the nurses and doctors safe.

There were no masks and gowns available for usage.

A picture that will shock all of us shows not just one but three nurses covered in black trash bags rather than a medical gown.

The picture was captioned with the message that there are no gowns and masks left in the entire hospital.

Mount Sinai West hospital wrote in a post “we are extremely saddened as we have lost a member of our nursing staff today.

The safety of the staff and the patients is our utmost priority right now. We have never kept it on the second priority and we are working on protecting everyone suffering right now.

Four other staff members working with Kelly have been tested for the virus. He was working with 9 other patients already.
