39-Year-Old Man In Yellow Summer Dress Arrested After Being Released From Hospital


A 39-year-old man in a bright summer dress was taken into custody after he stole a school bus and drove wrecked his estranged wife’s home.

It is alleged that he was just discharged from Western State Hospital, which treats patients with mental illnesses.

Andrew S. Loudon reportedly stole the vehicle from Osprey Rafting Co., shortly after being released from the hospital.

After stealing a front-loader, Louder allegedly drove into the house of his ex-wife who fled her home at the news he was searching for her.

The 39-year-old is being held on charges of possession of a stolen vehicle, theft, attempting to elude a police vehicle and first-degree malicious mischief/domestic violence.

Chelan County’s Sheriff’s Office said that the incident was reported after Osprey Rafting Co. employees saw Loudon driving the company’s school bus.

Police responded to the school bus driving eastbound near milepost 111 and saw the vehicle running a red light.

Because of the new police reform laws in Washington, law enforcement is no longer allowed to chase a fleeing suspect not suspected of committing a serious felony.

Louden managed to get away only to steal a front-end loader and slammed it into his ex’s house.

While driving the front-end loader through his estranged wife’s home, Loudon reportedly flipped a car over.

The Chewelah Police Department alerted the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office, who said they believed they had the suspect in custody.

The suspect appeared to be wearing the same summer outfit.

One person commented: “They might have regretted the decision not to pursue if he’d actually caught his wife at home. At least she managed to get away before he wrecked her house.”
