A video circulating on social media shows a man calling a female driver the N-word and shouts ‘black lives don’t matter.

In the video taken by Jakeila Phillips, the man can be seen in the passenger seat in an orange vehicle in Utica, New York.
Confused at the attacker’s behavior, Phillips asks, “What did you say?” to which the man quickly responds, “I hate n******.”
The assailant alter identifies himself as Barrel Wardell and says he is a chef.
Wardell also tells the victim, “I hang n****** on weekends.”
The video, which has gained more than 250,000 views on Twitter, shows Wardell yelling, “Put me on Facebook, black lives don’t matter! N*****!”
He adds, “Blacks should be slaves. Give me back my grandparents’ property divided by your f**king ancestors.”
The driver does not react at his passenger’s behavior.
Phillips shared the video on Facebook and wrote, “When I tell people I experience racist/prejudice encounters all the time they never believe me cause we live in Utica! I finally got to catch one on camera.”
It is not clear what grandparents’ property Wardell refers to in the footage but records show that the property belonging to Barry Wardell, and Dori and Steve Pacheco violated the Property Maintenance Code of New York.
According to Lite 98.7, the chef was involved in another racist incident that same day.
Steph Anie wrote on Facebook, “A young black man was walking down the sidewalk outside our house in the village of New Hartford today. I wouldn’t have noticed, but a car driving by stopped and started screaming “n****r” out of their window and threatening to harm him.
“We were in our play room and could hear their racist rage. A couple walking outside were able to get their license plate. My two-year old was scared. I was too. The police came and took statements.”
