A practical man has converted a dump truck into a hot tub for his partner after she complained to him about lacking a bath to relax in.
Dave Eastwood from the UK has been working on a new house together with his partner, Helen Kettleborough, for two years.
Throughout the building process, the couple has been staying in a garage with no access to a bathtub, something that Helen had missed terribly until Dave came up with a creative idea.
To satisfy his partner’s needs for a relaxing bath, Dave transformed the bucket of his dump truck into a one-of-a-kind hot tub – and apparently, it’s a blessing.
“It was absolute heaven to me. It was really lovely to relax. We’ve just been using a shower in the garage so to have a soak was really nice,” Helen said.
“We’ve been in the garage for two years now, so I had been complaining about the lack of bath so Dave decided to shut me up.”
As the woman added, she stayed in the makeshift hot tub for nearly an hour before making her leave.
“It had to have a couple of days of sun to warm the water up. We’d filled it up on Saturday and I finally got in on Monday. Just to make sure, I had a shower first so I was already a bit wet and it meant it wasn’t as cold,” she explained.
According to the couple, they’ve already agreed to bring the dump truck hot tub back to life as soon as the weather gets warmer.
“It was really nice to be out in the countryside too. Because we’ve been in the garage, I haven’t been able to enjoy the views because the windows are so small,” Helen added.
