While the excrement missed the unfortunate judge, several officers immediately swarmed the accused and evacuated the courtroom.

“It was intense. The corrections officers and police officers were swarming. Like 60 of them. They told everyone to leave and you couldn’t go back in. It was a hazardous area,” one of the witnesses, Allen Rios, revealed in an interview with Miami Herald.

Determined to proceed with the trial despite the man’s loss of control, the judge moved into a separate room before the jury reached a verdict that the man in the wheelchair was not guilty of robbery.

Nevertheless, Philidor remains in custody as he is facing another trial because he was also charged with car theft.

According to the officials, this incident wasn’t the first of its kind, as the same man also defecated and spread his excrement all over the cell walls only days prior to the trial.

Following the incident, the court and the attorneys requested a doctor to check if the 33-year-old was pretending to have a mental illness. According to the doctor’s ruling, the man was fit for trial.

After the second episode of inappropriate defecating, however, the authorities are determined to “provide extra security precautions” to keep the inmate at bay.

“MDCR staff and Correctional Health Services (CHS) Staff will continue to monitor this inmate and will provide extra security precautions to avoid the events from reoccurring,” the court spokesperson said in an interview with the Herald.
