Online dating can be weird sometimes as you don’t know about the person except for a few things.
The information they provide can be fake too as many people don’t reveal their real identity. So, sometimes it can be dangerous too.
But the worst thing is when you meet someone to get to know them but later you find out that they want something else from you. The same happened with Imgur user minilogo37 who signed up on Tinder just to see what would happen.
He met a girl on the site and he decided to meet her in person and it turned out to be the biggest mistake of his life. So, they went on a fancy dinner date but after a while, minilogo37 realized that the girl was there just for the ‘Free Food’. Yes, you heard it right!
But minilogo37 decided to teach the girl a great lesson so she could never do the same again. He explained the entire incident on Imgur.
“I signed up for Tinder, just to see what would happen. A few hours later, I got ‘super liked,’ which is apparently better than ‘liked.’ We talked for a few days, she seemed super cool. I suggested a date, and she insisted on it being dinner. Cool.
We met up tonight at a restaurant I’d picked out. She didn’t look at me, wore sweatpants, and immediately ordered a $13 appetizer. Okay, not a dealbreaker. I tried starting a conversation a few times, but she only gave one-word answers. Then, she orders a $25 steak and $22 crab legs. She drank 4 $9 glasses of wine. I got the steak, and a few drinks myself. Right about the time our main course(s) arrived, I’d pretty much given up. She talked more to the waiter.
As we were finishing, I excused myself and went to the restroom. While I was in there, a light bulb went off.
I left the bathroom, headed out the door, got in my car, and drove home. Now, here I am. She messaged me a few times, called me a ‘fucker’ about twelve times. Eh.”
This is HILARIOUS! Everyone applauded him for the way he took the revenge on the greedy girl.
But there were some who suggested that it would have been better if he had just asked for two separate checks.
Well, he did right as it was needed to teach her a lesson. Now the girl wouldn’t even think about doing it with someone else.
