According to health reports, the novel coronavirus might reside in your body longer than expected.
Charles Pignal, 42 was tested positive for COVID-19 after showcasing the common symptoms of coronavirus on March 4.
He was admitted to the hospital, and after two days of treatment, he had no symptoms and was fully recovered. But, even after getting discharged, the footwear executive was tested positive for COVID-19.
It is a clear sign that the virus will keep popping up as the treatment is meant for dampening the symptoms and not killing the virus. Charles was again admitted and was discharged after 40 days of being tested positive again and again.
Finally, he was tested negative twice for the tests that were taken 24 hours apart. Similar cases have been witnessed all across the world, making the doctors and health professionals in a befuddling situation.
Recently, South Korean researchers found that the dead fragments of the virus that remains in the body can pop up even months after getting recovered. Signal was in London when he was infected by the virus. He was on a business trip when he caught the virus.
After getting admitted to the hospital, he started feeling healthy and even told his mother that he would be out soon. According to the doctors who treated him, he showed recovery signs from the first day itself.
The signs of recovery majorly include no chance of fever for 72 hours without taking medicines. And, Charles started to recover, and doctors were ready to relieve him. But after a few days, he was tested positive again that alarmed the doctors.
Data from Korea Centers For Disease Control and Prevention said that around 292 people were recovered and tested positive. This is becoming a concerning issue for the health sector. The more patients are recovering, the more they are testing again.
