Jamie, from Barnsley, South Yorkshire, was with his friends to watch “1917,” the BAFTA-winning war film.

But because they had arrived two hours too early, they hopped over to the food court to pass the time before the film started.

That’s when Luke Jackson, one of Jamie’s friends, dared him to sit in the toddler’s high chair with the prize being a strawberry milkshake from McDonald’s.

Jamie took up the dare but ended up getting stuck instead. The hilarity of his friends couldn’t be contained and they even took a video of the whole thing.

Luke, an HGV driver, said: “He was thirsty and didn’t have much money on him so I said I would buy him a strawberry milkshake if he could fit into the high chair.

“He said he could fit into one of quite easily – and it took three people to get him out.

“Two security guards came over and had to pull on the bottom of the chair while I pulled him out by his arms.

“It was hilarious, we couldn’t stop laughing.

“The security guards told us off and said we were on our last warning, but they couldn’t stop laughing either.”

Despite taking care not to hurt Jamie as they were pulling him out, his legs still got bruised in the process.

Luke, 22, added: “The security said we’ve got to stop messing about, but they were laughing their heads off, it was so funny. They were telling me not to pull him too hard in case I hurt his legs. He ended up with a couple of bruises on his legs, but he wasn’t in pain.

“We were still laughing about it the next day. We thought at one point we might not have been able to get him out and they would have had to have called the fire brigade to cut him free. I passed my phone to my brother Josh and told him to film it because it was so funny.
