A picture of a man who allegedly stood on a plane during flight for six hours so that his partner could get proper sleep has gone viral with people sharing their opinions on the matter.
According to the incident which was explained on Twitter, the man on the picture was standing for six hours so that his partner could lie over two seats and get a good sleep.
While plenty of commenters applauded the man and claimed that’s what true love is all about, others said that it wasn’t fair of the woman to make her man stand four hours rather than placing her head on his lap.
“This guy stood up the whole 6 hours so his wife could sleep. Now THAT is love,” the life coach who shared the image said.
“Well one thing’s for sure – I never want to be in love…” one person responded.
“She couldn’t just lie across HIM?! I won’t judge their marriage. My hubs is the kind of man who would do this for me, but I am not the kind of wife to ask this of him!” another one wrote.
One person commented: “I can’t let my man stand for even 10 minutes. I’d definitely be sleeping on his laps which would even be more comfortable. Or rest properly on the chair. Why would you let your man stand for 6 hours?”
While the people were raging on about whether it was right of the woman to let the man stand or not, others suggested that the entire story might be fake as no airline would let a passenger stand for a prolonged time without a proper reason.
“That’s not loving. Also which airline allows anyone to stand for 6 hours during a flight?” someone wrote.
