A pet needs care and attention just like a baby and it becomes the duty and ritual of the owner to take care of its food, medicine, and some other supplies just to make sure that the pet is being given good care.
You must also ensure that your pet is healthy, other than providing shelter and basic needs such as food and water. When you need to carry your pet to the vet, there will be days when they get sick.
So going to a vet is the same as going to a human doctor–you have to pay for and buy medicine, or spend on the surgery you need.
If you don’t think you’re up for all of this, you might not think of owning a pet, after all, they are also living beings and you can not do injustice to them.
It’s a huge responsibility to have the pets be it any animal cat or dog. So people need to think twice before they even begin to understand having one.
Otherwise, it’ll just turn out like this horrific case in China where a dog owner threw his pet into an animal hospital, despite taking care of it.
Before being picked up by the foreign press, a video of the same incident went viral on Chinese social media platforms and sparked some very strong responses and reactions.
The video was taken from an animal hospital in Fuyang, Anhui, China and begins with a vet holding the pooch.
The poor puppy looked weak and ill and was not even able to move as the vet. The man, who is the of the dog owner and a small girl who might be his daughter is in the background.
Then, the man snatched the dog from the Vet, as the Vet was not holding him tight he was also not expecting such a strong reaction from his owner and was surprised.
Within a second, the man snatched the dog and threw it to the floor with such intensity that the dog bounced.
It seemed that he was not content with the brutality so he persisted to stomp the poor pup hard on the head and the body. It seems as if, for sure, the dog is dead, although it can not be proven.
As the clinic staff and the girl standing behind was in shock but she shooked the owner and pushed him away.
But as the video went viral people slammed the Vet for not taking any action. The reason for the man’s anger was apparently an extremely large bill.
He had told the vet earlier that he’d paid about $70 for medical treatment for the dog.
But lost his cool temper when he saw another bill at the hospital and decided to end his suffering in a rageful act by stomping the poor pup.
He is also most likely to remain unpunished for the abuse because China has no rules to protect animals and no legislation on animal cruelty.
