Man Got Mocked On Twitter For Claiming ‘Skinned Knees’ Hurt More Than ‘Period Cramps’

When a man made an absurd comparison between skinned knees and period cramps, he sparked a massive outrage on social media.

The nameless Twitter user posted a photo of a soccer player scraping his knees as he falls on the ground.

Captioning the photo, the guy said that women overreact about cramps and the pain they suffer in their period is nothing as compared to scraping one’s knees during a game.

“Until women experience this, I don’t wanna hear about period pains,” the guy, who appears to be in his twenties, wrote on Twitter.

And it didn’t take long before thousands of women across the globe came forward to destroy the ignorant man for his ludicrous statement.

Some women who’d experienced both types of pain pointed out how the period pain is much worse than a knee scar.

One Twitter user said: “I was 8 when I got my first turf burn on my knee. 20 yrs later, I still bear the scar. In HS I got a spike in my back.

“I’ve broken my thumb, gotten burned, and more. Yet NONE of those compared to my cramps from periods, which has made me pass out before. Sorry you’re a wimp.”

One user commented: “I have had gravel scraped out of my knees before… it was simple compared to my stomach cramps when I get my period.”

A woman, who used to play football, said: “When I played soccer I dislocated my shoulder, broke my ankle, and scarred my knees multiple times, and still finished the game all times.

“Periods still take me out of commission with their pain.”

Another wrote: “I did an asphalt belly flop, shredded the skin on my knees and palms and was walking around with an undiagnosed broken arm for three days thinking it was just a sprain.

“I’ve had menstrual cramps that hurt worse. I’ve had cramps that hurt worse than a freaking broken arm. Boom.”
