An Australian man has made a bold claim by saying that he is a secret child of Prince Charles and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall.
As Queensland-based Simon Charles Dorante-Day said, he’s taking the matter to the Australian High Court in an attempt to prove that he was conceived by Charles and Camilla when they were 18 and 19 respectively.
According to Mr. Dorante-Day, he was born in Gosport, Hampshire, on April 5, 1966, months after Camilla “mysteriously disappeared for at least nine months” whereas Prince Charles went on a tour of Australia.
As the man insists, he was then put up for adoption in order for the royal family to avoid having to deal with a scandal involving a child conceived during an affair.
Now, Dorante is determined to prove that he is the biological child of Prince Charles and claim what he believes is his right to be second-in-line to the British throne.
“This is most explosive thing that’s ever happened to the palace. It’s definitely the most significant step I’ve taken so far – I’ve had to force a deadline, hold them to a date, because we need answers,” he explained in an interview with New Idea.
“When I initially filed the papers in Queensland, the court staff laughed at me and bluffed me off.”
However, the man now took the issue to the High Court and requested a “statement of paternity” along with mediation.
“When looking into my options, I received advice that led me to believe that it was best to take my case to the High Court,” he added.
“Charles, Camilla and the Queen have spent years hiding from the truth, running from the truth about me, but no more. We need answers…
“I know it sounds unbelievable, but anything I say is checkable… I’m simply a man looking for my biological parents, and every road has led me back to Camilla and Charles.”
