A man was spotted running around “completely naked” and covered in blood after breaking through the window of a home to escape alleged abductors.
The incident occurred in Grimsby, UK, where a man was spotted shouting “someone help me, I’ve been kidnapped” while running down the street without clothes.
According to the Grimsby Telegraph, the man is believed to have injured his hand in his attempt to escape the Convamore Road home where he was allegedly held captive by his abductors.
“A man was taken to hospital where he was treated for injuries and has since been released. Several lines of enquiry are ongoing to determine the exact circumstances that led to the man’s injuries,” Detective Inspector Rhod Troake confirmed in a statement following the incident that resulted in the arrest of two individuals.
“I want to reassure the community that we believe this to be an isolated incident with no further threat to the public.”
As The Sun reported, it is believed that the home which the victim had escaped from is a “well-known brothel.”
“The house he jumped out of is a knocking shop and there are women selling sex in there. We have been reporting it to police time and time again and it got raided by officers recently,” one local suggested according to The Sun.
Meanwhile, another witness explained that the victim was yelling he had been kidnapped as he was running away from the house.
“I was sitting at home about 4pm and heard a massive crash. I looked out and saw an old-ish white bloke had gone crashing through the big window,” the witness said.
“There was glass all over the front garden. The man was completely naked. He had long scruffy hair and blood was gushing from his right arm. He was shouting, ‘Someone help me, I’ve been kidnapped’.”
The case remains under investigation as of this writing.
