34-Year-Old Man Arrested For Trying To Resurrect His Grandmother Who Passed Away In 2012


A man from Tennessee tried to resurrect his grandmother who passed away in 2012.

34-year-old Danny Frazier caused $30,000 worth of damage at a church cemetery on Huckleberry Springs Road, WVLT reported.

When Knoxville deputies arrived around 2:30 pm on Monday, they found Frazier around dug holes and broken headstones.

Frazier said that he wanted to ‘resurrect’ his grandmother who passed away in 2012.

According to WVLT, a passerby said to police that the man had been causing damage and loitering in the cemetery.

The 34-year-old was in the middle of breaking headstones and digging holes when police arrived on the scene.

Frazier’s grandmother, Edna Ruth Frazier, died at the age of 70 in June 2012.

An official assessment shows that the man caused $30,000 worth of damage. It is not clear if he has any previous criminal history but records show he was evicted from an apartment in 2015.

Inmate records show Frazier was charged with two felony counts, one for criminal trespassing and one for vandalism with a $20,000 bond.
