The 34-year-old said to investigators that he placed the child on his lap before pulling down her pants and underwear.

After hearing the screams of his daughter, the father started searching for his daughter from behind the stall. He opened the door and pulled his daughter out, taking his children outside. He then went back inside to deal with Puente but he had already run away.

“The Defendant said that he was f****d up and thinking dirty. He was dirty and didn’t want the police looking for him or catching him. He said he was paranoid and looking around as he left the bathroom because he knew what he did was wrong,” said prosecutors.

The father was tending to his other son while the young girl was waiting outside the restroom for her dad to finish. That’s when Puente lured the child to come towards him. Puente then covered the girl’s mouth as she started to scream and the father tried to open the locked stall.

He then looked under it and grabbed his daughter’s legs to pull her out.

The father took his children back to the main area of McDonald’s where his wife was waiting. When he came back to the stall where he last saw Puente, he already managed to escape.
