A 38-year-old man has pleaded guilty to having sex with a plastic cone in a train station, according to Wigan Today.
Trevor Smith appeared before magistrates and admitted to outraging public decency after a drunken incident involving a plastic cleaning cone at Wigan North Western railway station.
Smith said that he had been drinking and had taken a powder he received from his friends. He thought the powder was cocaine but it turned out to be a normal powder and not a drug.
The court also heard how he was seen by a Virgin Trains team leader at the train station with his trousers and brief down by his ankles. A cleaning cone was on his lap and he was ‘thrusting his hips.’
The station worker opened the door to the lift and spotted the 38-year-old ‘appearing to have sex’ with the cleaning cone. He immediately called the British Transport Police.
An officer entered the lift and found Smith still moving his hips but now on top of the plastic cone.
Smith then realized he was being watched and pulled his clothes back up with the help of an officer, who noticed powder around his face.
He was arrested on suspicion of possessing a drug but investigation revealed that the powder was not a drug at all and Smith was de-arrested.
But Smith was then reported for outraging public decency and the court heard how he had been with friends before the incident.
The court also heard that he suffered from depression and diabetes.
He explained that his friends noticed he was down so they gave him a powder, which he thought was cocaine. He also thought that he was in a locked room when he touched the plastic cone.
