A man was left in disbelief after opening a can of Heinz Beanz in hopes of feeding himself after a busy day only to discover that there was just one bean inside the can.

41-year-old Conservative councilor Steve Smith couldn’t believe his eyes when he opened a can of Heinz beans only to come across a single bean swimming in the sauce.
As the man revealed, he just wanted to eat a quick meal after returning home hungry from work. Instead of a satisfying portion of beans, however, Steve came across one sad-looking bean that appeared depressed from swimming all alone in Heinz sauce.
“I got back late from a residents’ meeting and wanted some food. I poured out the tin and I found one bean,” the councilor said.
“I thought it was funny — but annoying! It was the last tin we had in the cupboard. I had to have scrambled egg instead.”
Seeing the funny side of the unfortunate meal, Steve shared a video of his findings on Twitter and tagged the beans’ manufacturer, Heinz, in it.
“I enjoy ‘bean juice’ as much as the next person, but when I opened a can this evening I was hoping for more than one bean,” Steve jokingly wrote.
While the company responded to Steve by asking him for his information, it isn’t clear what happened afterward. He’s probably going to get some beans though.
“I’ve had more interest on this than in any of the actual issues I’ve worked on as a councilor,” Steve added later on.
