A man had his nose removed, skin tattooed blue and ears mutilated to turn himself into a real-life orc.
Fernando Franco de Oliveira has covered most of his body with tattoos to achieve his goal.
He even acquired vampire teeth and has horn implants fitted into his head but he admitted that the most life-changing and painful surgery was the removal of his nose.
De Oliveira decided to cut and reshape his nose so it would appear like a part of his skull.
“I have a forked tongue, an ‘orc’ ear, vampire teeth and horn implants in my head. The last one I did, to make me look completely frightening, was my nose. I mutilated it to look like a skull,” he said.
After his operation in March, it took some time for his nose to heal.
But he said that he enjoyed the process of reshaping his nose and skull as he wanted to look like an orc from Lord of the Rings.
Despite his procedures, de Oliveira is not done yet. He said that he wants to remodel his ears and have more horn implants in his head.
“I have had everything tattooed except my palms and the soles of my feet,” he said.
“I really like the pain of needles, I am addicted. Every now and then I get the need to touch up the tattoos because I don’t have enough space on my body.”
One person commented: “Doctors take an oath to “first, do no harm” so whatever surgeon did this should have his license suspended.”
Another wrote: “O.M.G. who would agree to cut this dude’s nose off? Not that he was in much better shape before that surgery.”
A third added: “I wonder what job this guy has.”
