A 32-year-old man has admitted that he is now struggling to speak after having his upper lip and nose removed.
Anthony Loffredo has his entire body covered in tattoos and even had his tongue split as he wanted to look like a ‘black alien.’
But he took his transformation to the next level when he had his upper lip and nose removed in Spain.
In an Instagram post discussing the procedure, Loffredo thanked @oscarmarquezbodymod and wrote: “Now I can walk with my head high thanks to you I am proud of what we did together.”
He admitted in an Instagram Question and Answer that he is now struggling to speak since the removal of his nose and upper lip but he said he is still excited for more body modification.
Loffredo said he dreamed of having his skin removed entirely and replacing it with metal.
“From a very young age, I have been passionate about mutations and transformations of the human body,” he told French newspaper Midi Libre in 2017.
“I had a click when I was a security guard.
“I realised that I was not living my life the way I wanted. I stopped everything at 24 and left for Australia.”
“It has become normal, even unconscious, to constantly think about my plans [for body modification] for the next few months,” Loffredo said.
“I often settle down somewhere and play a role, especially at night in the dark streets,” he added.
“I explore the contrast between the role I play and myself.”
One person commented: “Whoever did this should lose their licenses………”
Another wrote: “The funny things is nobody has ever seen an alien… So how do you know they look like that?”
A third added: “What kind of medical doctor would remove someone’s nose and upper lip for cosmetic reasons? The doctors should lose their medical licenses.”
