A jealous man took the lives of his wife and daughter in an attack of “pure anger” before casually walking away from the crime scene.
The grisly incident took place in Salisbury, England, where 40-year-old Marcin Zdun slit the throats of his wife, Aneta, and their 18-year-old daughter, Nikoleta, after his partner allegedly kicked him for their home.
According to the reports, the 40-year-old Tesco worker is believed to have suspected his wife of cheating on him. In addition, he was allegedly also jealous of the close bond his wife had with his daughter.
Recalling the gruesome scene of the murder, one of the witnesses who ran towards the home after hearing young children’s screams suggested “there was no humanity” left in Zdun.
“There was no humanity in his face whatsoever, just anger – pure anger. I don’t know how you can do that to another human being. His sole purpose was to kill them… he just went mental,” painter David Powell said after his brave attempt to save the mother and daughter.
“There was nothing I could do,” the worker added as he broke into tears while recalling the brutal murder at Winchester Crown Court.
After killing his wife and daughter, Zdun allegedly walked off as if nothing had happened before he was stopped and detained by Powell and his coworker.
While the 40-year-old man, who has since been charged with murder, insists he cannot remember a thing from the time of the killing, the prosecutors suggested Zdun is pretending to be suffering from memory loss because he is guilty of murder.

Such a condition can occur when an individual is so horrified by his own actions that he or she represses the memory and blocks it out,” Prosecutor Nicholas Haggan QC said.point 144 | 1
“Equally, the defendant’s claim not to be able to remember what happened could be untrue – in other words, he does remember what he did but is choosing not to admit it, because it is convenient for him to do so.
“[The murders were] not the result of an abnormality of mental functioning… The defendant knew exactly what he was doing; he made the conscious decision to kill his wife and daughter, he knew that it was wrong – but he chose to do it anyway.”
