Nevertheless, the man had been struggling with mental health issues that have gotten to him during his self-isolation.

“He’s struggled with his mental health for the past two years but he’s a very social person so all this staying in wouldn’t have helped him at all,” the man’s aunt, Tina Wigglesworth, said in an interview with Manchester Evening News.

“Every day he used to flit from one friend to another. He was the life and soul of the party… everyone’s said what a massive shame and shock it is.”

As the aunt went on to say, her nephew always looked out for other people with troubles despite having issues of his own.

“It breaks your heart that he’s helped so many people but couldn’t help himself,” she added.

“My amazing best friend took his life on Friday 3rd April. He meant so much to so many people and I would love to be able to help his wonderful family in this time of uncertainty by helping them pay for his funeral. Any contributions big or small would be massively appreciated,” Holly Schofield, the fundraiser’s organizer, wrote.
