The bond between a dog and his owner is one of the strongest bonds ever.

Pups are indeed best friend of humans who would do anything to protect them and to make them feel happy.

Even in their last days, they would like to spend every single second with the owners. Most of the vets have told that while performing euthanasia, dogs usually cry if they don’t see their owner around us.

What a beautiful relationship it is! That’s why it is the responsibility of every pet-owner to stand along with them until their last breath. And one Texas man is a role model for each and every one of us, who loves taking his disabled dog to the park just for him to feel the grass.

A few days ago a story was shared by KHOU.com producer Doug Delony who took a photo of a man who was kneeling next to a dog while leaving his stroller beside him.

At first, Dough was shocked as he has never seen someone doing this to his puppies. He says, “Most afternoons, I take a run through Discovery Green and most afternoons I see this guy with a stroller but no baby. He brings this beautiful… what appears to be a disabled pup to the park.

He lets it sit in the grass and take in the smell and the sound. Here he is giving it water out of a small cup he brings with him.”

Later on, he figured out that the dog is a 16-year-old sheltie named Max, and the owner’s name was Mayo (wife) and Griffin (husband).point 335 |

But according to the owners, Max is very old now who could hardly walk. Moreover, he is blind from one eye and also has arthritis and takes various medications. But Max loves to go out and loves the feeling of laying down on the grass.

Mayo told, “But I don’t think you should just turn your back on someone just because they’re elderly. I think they deserve our love and our care and our attention. And there is so much we can learn from them even as they get older.”

That is the reason the owners take him out with them in a stroller and let him lay down in the grass and play with other puppies. Griffin added, “When we take him outside, you can tell he’s having a good time. You can tell he’s just enjoying himself. And if we can do that for him, why not?”
