The crime rates in the US has been increasing at a staggering rate.
Every day we can hear some heinous and bizarre crime reported that startles all the citizens.
Recently a tragic case was reported, where a husband killed his wife and four kids after storing them for weeks in the house.
Michael Jones, Jr. from Florida is accused of killing his wife along with four children aged between one and 10, keeping their body for weeks and dumping them in Georgia later.
The body of Casei Jones, 32, wife, was found near Brantley County, Georgia on Sunday. Remain of children were also found nearby after a few hours.
The missing report of the mother and children were reported on Saturday, but after investigating their relatives, it was found that they haven’t seen them for six weeks.
Michael Jones Jr. has been accused of second-degree homicide, and his arrest warrant has also been issued when he was located in Georgia.
While the police officials found that the mother and kids were murdered and stored for weeks in the house before getting dumped in Georgia, but how they were murdered is still unclear.
It was Casei’s family who came forward to register a missing report and added they haven’t seen or heard from the mother and the kids since six weeks.
After learning about their brutal murder, Casei’s mother was shattered. Her grandchildren were like their own kids.
Casei and her kids were last spotted in a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica after which no one has ever spotted them alive.
Casei’s mother further added that she is scared to live alone. Casei was her last daughter, and she has no idea what she would without her daughter and grandchildren.
Michael had no personal grudges towards his wife and children, and no incidents of fights have been witnessed by neighbors in recent days.
The motive behind the murder is also unclear. Police have been investigating the case and interrogating Michael to get more information.
