The people involved in a Disneyland brawl have been hit with charges after footage of the incident went viral on social media.
35-year-old Avery Robinson, 40-year-old Andrea Robinson, and her husband 44-year-old Daman Petrie are all charged in connection with the brawl which happened on July 8.
The shameful video showed two women and two men getting into an argument. They exchanged blows and spat at each other in front of terrified children.
Avery, the man sporting a pink t-shirt in the video, was hit with five felonies for beating up his girlfriend, child abuse and endangerment, domestic battery, and assault with a deadly weapon.
He turned his aggression on his girlfriend, punching her in the face numerous times after slapping his sister and punching her husband.
During their fight, he made multiple comments, including: “I’m ready to go to jail tonight!”
His sister, Andrea, is also facing five misdemeanor charges, including four charges of battery for attacking Avery, his girlfriend, and a Disneyland staff. She faces a maximum of two and a half years in prison if convicted.
Andrea’s husband, 44-year-old Daman Petrie is facing one misdemeanor count of battery. He is accused of punching Avery’s girlfriend in the face and faces a minimum of six months in prison if convicted.
Disney told DailyMail: “We do not condone this behavior.”
One internet user said: “This is what happens when you stop teaching decorum at home and in school. People didn’t used to act like this so often because they were taught as children how to behave.”
Another commented: “7 years would be just about right, but I do not think that he will change his behaviour in the future.”
A third wrote: “7 years is not long enough for this animal.”
