A 34-year-old man died from coronavirus just two weeks after visiting Disney World and Universal Studios.
Jeffrey Ghazarian from California previously beat cancer and suffered a lot in his life.
Two weeks after visiting Disney World and Universal Studios, he was tested positive for coronavirus.
Jeffrey went on a two-day trip to Disney World and Universal Studios with friends on March 2.
He started showing symptoms of coronavirus on March 8.
After he coughed up blood, he flew back home and was taken to the ER. The doctors confirmed he had pneumonia and told him to self-quarantine while they waited for coronavirus test results.
On March 13, Jeffrey was tested positive for coronavirus. His sister, Lauren, confirmed through Facebook that Jeffrey had tested positive for coronavirus.
He was taken to the hospital that night and then passed away after spending five days in the hospital.
His family wrote on Facebook after his death: “Our sweet, loving, fun Jeffrey went to be with Jesus this morning. He suffered a lot and put up a good fight.”
“We will miss our Jeff everyday but we are thankful for all the fun happy memories of the times we had together.”
The 34-year-old beat testicular cancer in 2016 and had “a history of asthma and frequent bronchitis as a child”, his family revealed.
Jeffrey is the youngest American to die from the virus.
A single mother-of-six, who previously beat cancer, has also died from coronavirus.
Widow Sundee Rutter, who beat breast cancer, passed away from coronavirus on March 16, 2020, leaving behind six children.
On March 7, she was admitted to a Washington hospital after she started struggling to breathe.
Sadly, she passed away after spending nine days in the hospital. A GoFundMe page has been created for the mother’s family as she left her six children orphaned.
