A 23-year-old man defended his girlfriend who is 37 years older than him after trolls said she looks like his grandmother.
Quran from the US regularly shows off his relationship with Cheryl, 60, on TikTok where he has gained more than 400k followers.
But they often receive hurtful messages from people who brand their relationship ‘disgusting,’ with others claiming he must only be with Cheryl because she has money.
Others even leave cruel comments on the woman’s appearance, saying she looks like Quran’s grandmother instead of his girlfriend.
In a new TikTok video, which has been watched over 3.7 million times, Quran and Cheryl answered a viewer’s question ‘do your family approve of y’all dating?’
Together, they said ‘yeah,’ revealing that Cheryl’s children – who are all older than Quran – are very supportive and happy for them.
Quran always posts videos defending his girlfriend from critics. In one video captioned ‘me defending my girl in the comments section,’ he can be seen chucking a broom and a cup at the phone camera.
Despite the negative remarks, many people also send positive messages for the couple.
“I wish you nothing but the best,” one person wrote.
“Why does it matter as long as y’all are happy and love each other?” another said.
“Some people just can’t handle seeing someone happy – it makes them realise how miserable they are themselves,” a third added.
This comes after a woman hit back at trolls who criticized her relationship with her plus-size boyfriend.
