In April 2016, a man named Bill Davis was on a construction site when he spotted two deer trapped in a mud pit.
Davis from Tacoma, Washington, didn’t want to leave them alone. He decided to rescue them.
He somehow found someone with an excavator and they started rescuing the two deer.
He filmed how they rescued the deer and shared the video on his Facebook with the caption:
“I didn’t sleep much [after the rescue]. All I could think about was those little guys getting stuck again, and not finding mama! I’m out there looking to make sure the babies didn’t come back to the mud!”
“Here’s a vid on one of two deer I found while checking on some alarm events on some property for a company I work for.”
“I wouldn’t have seen them if they hadn’t moved and caught my eye! I’m an avid deer hunter and it broke my heart to see this!” he wrote on his Facebook. (Credit: Bill Davis/Facebook)
The video instantly went viral and everyone praised him for rescuing the deer who were trapped in the mud.
