This Man Was Distraught By The Death Of Two Of His Dogs, When He Got His Birthday Present, He Couldn’t Stop Himself From Crying

Loss of loved ones leaves us hollow from inside, some people don’t know how to get over it, some people look for replacements and then there are some other people who learn to live with that loss.

This Video is about someone who ended up replacing the loss because he did not know how else to cope with his loss.

The story is about James Xuereb who lives in the most populated province of Canada, Ontario. He lost his two much-loved dogs, Nemo and Lucy to old age and congestive heart failure.

His daughter Jaleen talked about his mental state, “He was on edge, he didn’t want to talk about them, and if we did then either he would leave the room or start crying. It was heartbreaking to see.”

His daughter and wife wanted to do something about his condition, and when he hinted that their third dog, mini was getting lonely and wanted a companion, they knew what they had to do.

They decided to buy another dog for James, an early birthday gift for him. So they went to Fern Flett who was a breeder to buy another dog. Jaleen said that when they entered the shop, one of the dogs came running to them and started pulling her mom’s trousers. They knew which dog they had to buy.

They decided to name him Lumo, a hybrid of Lucy and Nemo and brought him home.

Now it was time to hand over the gift to him. While recording the scene, they gave him the card and asked him to open it and read it aloud. Seeing the picture of a dog on the first page of the card, he faltered.

However, when he read the first line, he couldn’t keep his emotions in check and started crying. He could not even finish reading the card.

The video was later uploaded on Facebook and was viewed 700,000 times.

The mother and daughter too took their sweet time in giving him the birthday present. They were anxious as to how he would react.
