Man Coughed On Noodles After Employees Told Him He’s Not Allowed To Buy More Than 2 Packs


A man was arrested after purposely coughing on noodles because supermarket employees told him he wasn’t allowed to buy more than two packs.

The incident occurred at a Wagga Wagga Woolworths in Australia where the 34-year-old culprit coughed on noodles after staff told him buying over two packs was not allowed.

“Well they’re now contaminated anyway,” the man allegedly yelled after coughing on the products as he was confronted by an employee.

After the incident, the police were able to identify the 34-year-old quickly and charged him with the intention to cause fear.

“Police investigated the incident, followed up with CCTV, and he’s been located, spoken to and is currently before the courts,” the authorities announced.

Speaking of the inappropriate act, Inspector Probst warned people that anyone “behaving in a manner likely to cause fear” will be investigated.

“Anyone who’s behaving in a manner likely to cause fear, particularly in relation to COVID-19, we will investigate and if identified, we will either issue an infringement or bring those persons before the court,” the inspector said.

In an unrelated incident that occurred across the ocean, a woman got arrested and charged with terrorist threats after spitting and coughing on groceries at a supermarket in Hanover Township, New Jersey.

35-year-old Margaret Cirko is a Pennsylvanian woman who’s facing serious charges after her unthoughtful ‘prank’ backfired and got her arrested.

The incident occurred at a Gerrity’s Supermarket where the woman threatened the staff and shoppers by claiming she has coronavirus before intentionally contaminating fresh produce.

According to the Hanover Township Police Department, Cirko coughed and spat “in several aisles before attempting to steal a 12-pack of beer as she was being ordered to leave the store by employees.”

After the incident, the store was forced to throw away potentially contaminated products including fresh produce, meat, and baked products.

As the store has revealed, their premises were thoroughly cleaned by the staff and contaminated food was thrown away following the bizarre incident.
