A 60-year-old truck driver, who is battling cancer, was caught on camera singing an inspirational song.
Delvin Simmons, who has been a truck driver for more than 40 years, was diagnosed with advanced colon cancer. Despite battling cancer, the man is so positive.
In this video, his son Justin filmed him singing ‘The Old Man Is Dead’ by Del Way ahead of his first surgery.
Delvin, who was on his final drive in his semi-truck before the surgery, has sung the uplifting song many times in his little church in Vinita, OK.
The video of Delvin singing ‘The Old Man Is Dead’ by Del Way just days before his first surgery went viral online and everyone just loved the rendition.

When Delvin got to know his video had gone viral online, he was very delighted. He said: “On the off chance that I had a colonoscopy 5 years prior, this may have all been unique. I have sat in this doctor’s facility and I have cried. Not for misery but rather on the grounds that I am overpowered at what God is doing with that tune.”
