Rodney Ridenbark has forever lived in the town of Jerseyville, Illinois. The town is like a family to him.
A few years ago the man lost his wife and since then he made sure to attend all the funerals taking place in the town to give strength to the family of the deceased.
Rodney is a loving man who is adored by everyone in town. He takes a walk every day, goes to each business and says hi to his friends.
One each of his birthday he buys a cake for himself but his friend Jessica Grace decided to make his 60th birthday special. She thought of throwing him a surprise party and she had known that the entire town will turn up.
The next thing to think was what gift she could buy him and that is when she thought of it. She thought of getting him a new perfectly fitted suit that he can wear to the funerals.
She took her idea to Facebook and posted asking if anyone wishes to help her with the same. She saw an amazing reaction on her post.
Then she created a GoFundMe page for him and together she and the people of the town were able to raise $3,900. They were all very excited and finally, Rodney went ion to get his suit fitted.
As per the plan, Rodney is going to wear that suit on his Birthday as a grand party is scheduled for his 50th birthday that is just on its way.
Rodney is no superstar to the world but just another common man. But to the people of his town, Rodney is a dear friend and that one person who loves each and everyone he meets. He is a kind-hearted man who believes in spreading love and kindness only.
