A 56-year-old man was recently arrested in Japan after he was reportedly found guilty of stealing more than 700 pairs of underwear and bras that belonged to women.
Referred to by many as the underwear thief, the college student was busted by cops in Japan who found him carrying out the act at various laundromats. He was identified as 56-year-old Tetsuo Urata who was interrogated and then arrested by officials.
Just last week, the Japanese police officials decided to pay his home a visit and that’s where they reportedly found a major stash comprising of female undergarments. Moreover, the officials claim that it was a massive collection of bras and panties that they had never seen in their life, at one single time.
The man who hails from Japan’s city of Beppu admitted to his uber strange fetish or shall we say obsession with ladies bras and panties. They laid bare at his apartment with police releasing shocking clips of the collection comprising of a total of 730 different pairs.
The thief used to carry out his secret crime from various laundromats in the city and then bring them back to his home, lying them neatly on the ground. But cops claim that they were alerted when a woman first filed a complaint against another college student who she claimed stole her bras and underwear.
Soon, police carried out a series of investigations which led them to the suspect’s home, and that’s when they made the uber bizarre discovery, just a week after they tracked him down. The suspect did admit of his crime and obsession too.
But that’s not the only strange case to come out of Japan recently in terms of underwear theft. Yes, officials also recently spoke about another similar incident from Japan’s city of Oita. Here is where a 47-year-old man was arrested for carrying out a similar crime.
It clearly appears that women’s undergarments are in high demand, keeping both these incidents in mind. Do you agree?
