A little girl got a little more than she bargained for in the park when a magpie suddenly took a liking to her and started following her around.
The surprised toddler could only wave her hands in the air while squealing as the mischievous bird followed from behind.
The girl even looked back several times to see if the bird was following her and, to everyone’s amusement, the bird just kept pace.
The whole scene was captured on video by the girl’s grandmother while visiting a park in Scotland.
“It was quite amusing and there ended up being a few bystanders all having a giggle,” she said.
And in the video’s background, a pair of onlookers can be seen just standing on the footpath as they watch the adorable scene unfold with smiles on their faces.
It’s certainly something that will give the right amount of cheer to your day.
Clever and inquisitive, magpies are easily drawn towards objects and have even been known to form friendships with people.
