The legendary star showed up at the VMA in an all-black leather outfit that gave complete dominatrix vibes and had so many people in absolute awe. Fit, fabulous, and confident as ever- Madonna managed to open up the VMAs with a bang.
But not everyone felt that her get up for the night was age-appropriate and that includes British critic Piers Morgan who had plenty to say about the superstar and her appearance.
Controversial and mean as ever, Morgan did not hesitate one bit when it came to calling the singer out for trying too hard on a public platform. And that includes a Tweet that stated, ‘Cringe.’
The awards which took place at the famous Brooklyn Barclay’s Center had so many fans and followers of the legend waiting in line, just to get a glimpse of the star. And when arrived, people just couldn’t control themselves.
The full leather get-up was perfectly fitted, giving complete dominatrix vibes. But what really got so many people’s attention is how the star stepped out of her yellow taxi and arrived in front of her fans who just couldn’t control their nerves and emotions.
The famous 1990 Vogue song played in the background as Madonna smiled away effortlessly with perfectly done hair and makeup. But as the old saying goes, you can’t make everyone happy and that was the same case on display here.
Madonna certainly turned heads but not everyone was impressed with her attire. One woman agreed with Piers Morgan adding how she was a female but still felt that Madonna had lost her charm and wasn’t rocking that outfit anymore.
The star paired her outfit with a black hat, and fingerless gloves made from leather too. All in all, it was a look that she felt right at home in, no matter what her haters felt.
