While Loughlin is set to serve two months in prison, her husband has been sentenced to five months behind bars.

According to the reports, Loughlin has already reported to FCI Dublin in California and started her sentence. The Federal Correctional Institution, Dublin is also the place where the 56-year-old’s former co-star Felicity Huffman served a two-week sentence over her role in the college bribery scheme.

Meanwhile, Loughlin’s husband, Giannulli, has not yet reported to prison. He has been ordered to start carrying out his five-month prison sentence by November 19.

Back in August, Loughlin broke into tears as she admitted her crime in front of the judge via Zoom.

“I went along with a plan to give my daughters an unfair advantage… and in doing so I ignored intuition and allowed myself to be swayed from my moral compass,” she said.

“I now understand my decision helped exacerbate existing inequalities generally… that realization weighs heavily on me.”

While the couple initially insisted they did nothing wrong and refused to plead guilty, they had a sudden change of heart in August after early prison releases were triggered by the pandemic. Neither Loughlin nor Giannulli, however, provided an explanation for their decision to plead guilty.
