A puzzle showing three lines of different lengths has been puzzling internet users and forcing people to double-check their answers.

As seen in the picture, your job is simple – you have to find out which of the three lines (which have corresponding letters A, B, and C) is the longest. Look at the picture carefully and let us know what your answer is!

The correct answer is A – the first line is the longest of the three lines in the picture. Though the answer is pretty obvious, the puzzle was designed to test your conformity.

By circling the ‘B’ next to the second line, the puzzle implies B is the correct answer even though the circle is no more than a complete distraction.

In addition, the second line is placed closer to the corresponding letter than the other two lines which adds up to the confusion of the unsuspecting viewer.

Meanwhile, line ‘C’ is accompanied by a similar-looking arrow which makes the line appear longer than it actually is.
